Gracias a la r\u00e1pida intervenci\u00f3n de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Polic\u00eda de carabineros, el d\u00eda 25 de noviembre, se atendi\u00f3 el llamado de un ciudadano de la comunidad de la vereda Cerca de Piedra, quien report\u00f3 la presencia de un Morrocoy sabanero (Chelonoidis carbonarius) en inmediaciones de una empresa de flores del sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una vez se dio el rescate del individuo, se hicieron los <\/a>tr\u00e1mites administrativos para retornarlo a su h\u00e1bitat; desde la secretaria de Medio Ambiente se hace un llamado a la comunidad para que denuncie la tenencia ilegal de fauna silvestre en el municipio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
