El d\u00eda al fin lleg\u00f3. Los Denver Nuggets llegaron a las grandes finales de la NBA por 1\u00b0 vez en su historia (omitiendo el caso de la disuelta ABA); y como si de una profec\u00eda se tratase, el serbio Nikola Jokic lider\u00f3 a la franquicia de Colorado a lograr este hito (y quiz\u00e1s ya lo ten\u00eda planeado desde hace bastante tiempo).<\/p>

Muchas veces se menciona que lo que est\u00e1 destinado a ser, suceder\u00e1. Y parecer ser que el caso Jokic-Nuggets no es la excepci\u00f3n. Luego de pasar a\u00f1os y a\u00f1os intentando ganar el anillo o si quiera llegar a las finales, Denver estaba en busca de aquella pieza, de aquel jugador que lograra aquella haza\u00f1a.<\/p>

Y esta historia no pod\u00eda iniciar de una manera m\u00e1s particular. Resulta que en 2014, cuando se anunci\u00f3 que los Denver Nuggets escog\u00edan al serbio en la 2\u00b0 ronda del Draft con la selecci\u00f3n n\u00famero 41, en lugar de mostrar alg\u00fan video del jugador, el canal que transmit\u00eda el evento present\u00f3 un anunci\u00f3 de Taco Bell, es decir, nadie sab\u00eda c\u00f3mo era aquel basquetbolista elegido por la franquicia.<\/p>

Eso s\u00ed, no fue hasta el 2015 que jug\u00f3 en la NBA porque en el 2014 jug\u00f3 aquella temporada en el KK Mega Leks (Serbia) antes de unirse a los Nuggets.<\/p>

Como era de esperarse, Jokic fue creciendo en la NBA, fue mejorando su juego y conforme lo hac\u00eda, los focos cada vez iban en su direcci\u00f3n. Nadie esperaba que un jugador escogido en una posici\u00f3n tan lejana en el Draft tuviera actuaciones excepcionales a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, y es que en cada temporada consigue muchos triple-dobles (registrar m\u00e1s de 10 puntos, 10 rebotes y 10 asistencias en un partido), adem\u00e1s de ganar 2 MVPs seguidos (premio al mejor jugador de la temporada regular). Esto llev\u00f3 a que Denver mostrara su apoyo incondicional hac\u00eda el serbio y le firmar\u00e1 un contrato de $264M por los pr\u00f3ximos 5 a\u00f1os (esta cantidad de dinero se divide por la cantidad de a\u00f1os acordados y la distribuci\u00f3n puede ser ascendente o descendente).<\/p>

Actualmente, Denver Nuggets est\u00e1 en las Finales de la NBA por 1\u00b0 vez en su historia liderados principalmente por un Nikola Jokic (premiado como el mejor jugador en las Finales de Conferencia frente a Los Angeles Lakers) que est\u00e1 redoblando sus esfuerzos para devolverle todo el apoyo recibido por parte de la franquicia y los aficionados y poder al fin, cumplir lo que \u2018ya estaba escrito\u2019, una victoria hist\u00f3rica de la relaci\u00f3n Jokic-Nuggets.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
